How It Works
Amerinet is committed to continuing its leadership in implementing data standards by partnering with 1SYNC and our customers to help standardize the healthcare and foodservice supply chains. Partnering with 1SYNC allows Amerinet and its suppliers to access the Global Data Synchronization Network® (GDSN®), thereby establishing and enabling the sharing of standardized product and location information that ensures that all supply chain partners are using identical, up-to-date, reliable data. 

As a founding member of the Foodservice initiative, Amerinet is working with their foodservice vendors to synchronize data via the GDSN. Learn more by visiting the Foodservice Initiative’s webpage.


Authorized Barcodes
Ensure you use authorized and unique GS1 US Company Prefixes to build your U.P.C barcode and Global Trade Item Numbers® (GTINs®). In the United States, GS1 US is the sole source of globally-unique GS1 Company Prefixes. Proper usage and formation of barcodes, and accurate product information ensure Data Quality, which is a pre-requisite in successfully improving supply chain efficiencies. Apply for a U.P.C. Company Prefix.
