1SYNC™ industry supported services for synchronizing GS1 System standards ensure the consistency of information shared between trading partners. For the grocery industry, adoption of these ecommerce standards will result in greater efficiency, improved productivity and increased competitiveness. For this program to be successful, all our trading partners should join a Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) certified Data Pool, such as 1SYNC.


Authorized Barcodes
Ensure you use authorized and unique GS1 US Company Prefixes to build your U.P.C barcode and Global Trade Item Numbers® (GTINs®). In the United States, GS1 US is the sole source of globally-unique GS1 Company Prefixes. Proper usage and formation of barcodes, and accurate product information ensure Data Quality, which is a pre-requisite in successfully improving supply chain efficiencies. Apply for a U.P.C. Company Prefix.
