The GLN Implementation Workshop is designed specifically for data managers, electronic data interchange (EDI) professionals, and other healthcare supply chain professionals with front-line responsibility for implementing the GS1 Global Location Number (GLN) in their organizations. Learn directly from healthcare provider and supplier professionals who have experience successfully implementing the GLN and leave with the information needed to begin implementation within your organization.
This GLN focused training session will feature:
- Creating a GLN team and strategy
- Establishing a GLN hierarchy
- How to reconcile GLNs with your GPOs
- Reconciling GLNs with distributors
- Live tutorial on the GLN Registry for Healthcare®
- Using GLNs in EDI transactions
- How to engage with your ERP system
- Declaring GLN Readiness
- Hands-on personal review of individual hierarchies
CEUs: Attendees may earn 4.5 Contact Hours toward CMRP Certification or .45 Continuing Education Units for each session.
