Barcodes 101 & the GS1-128 Barcode
The GS1 System uses approved barcode symbologies to encode the identification numbers, such as GTINs, which uniquely identify products, logistic units, locations, assets, and service relations worldwide. Join this session to learn how additional product information such as best-before-dates, serial numbers, and lot numbers may also be encoded into barcodes. This session will highlight GS1-128 barcodes as it is recommended by the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) for cases.
