If you want to bring your products to market, you need a U.P.C. barcode. GS1 US makes it easy to create authorized barcodes by following three simple steps:

1. Provide some basic information about your company
   You’ll need to know your estimated annual sales, the approximate number of products you need barcodes for, and your company contact information. Simply fill out our application to receive a GS1 Company Prefix. Using that prefix, you can create barcode numbers (GTINs) for each product you are selling, to learn more click here.
2. Submit your payment online or by mail
   The initial fee can be as low as $760 for up to 100 barcodes. Your initial registration fee licenses the prefix to you for one year. After that, you’ll pay a small annual renewal fee to continue using the company prefix for your barcodes.
3. Create U.P.C. barcodes for your products
   U.P.C. barcodes allow you to identify your products, track inventory, capture information, and share it electronically with your customers.
