The VICS Item-Level RFID Initiative (VILRI)
The VILRI is an inter-industry group of leading U.S. retailers, suppliers, industry associations, academia and solution providers, dedicated to quantifying the business and consumer benefits of item-level RFID, and exploring how the technology can improve business processes along the retail supply chain.
GS1 US is an association member of the VILRI - and our GS1 EPC standards are helping to advance the work of the retail industry in defining adoption and best practice guidelines of RFID technology.
