Thanks to funding provided in part by GS1 US, researchers at the University of Arkansas’ RFID Research Center Lab are studying the benefits that stakeholders in the apparel industry can achieve by adopting RFID based on GS1 Electronic Product Code (EPC) standards. They are quantifying the effects of EPC-based tracking on improving inventory accuracy, productivity, costs, and revenues.
