The Foodservice GS1 US Standards Initiative seeks to facilitate GS1 Standards adoption in an effort to drive waste out of the supply chain and enhance efficiencies, improve product information for customers, and establish a foundation for traceability and food safety.

The following is a roadmap outlining the various steps and milestones in GS1 Standards adoption and implementation. For a detailed look at how to adopt and implement the Standards, visit our tools and resources to download the Foodservice GS1 US Standards Initiative Implementation Guide.
