Simple steps to identify, capture, and share product information

Build the foundation for seamlessly managing your business

By creating identification numbers for products and locations you can improve processes to manage your inventory, orders, shipments, and invoices, and enhance traceability in your supply chain.

Once you have your GTIN, you need to create a barcode

The GTIN is the foundation for building a barcode. There are many formats of barcodes. The barcode formats you need for products scanned at point of sale (or checkout) are different from the ones you need for products scanned in a distribution center or a warehouse.

With identifiers and barcodes, you’re on your way

With product and location identifiers for your business (GTINs and GLNs) and barcodes on your cases, you can share foundational product data and transactional data with your trading partners and consumers for improved business processes and traceability.
