GS1 Connect Coronavirus Communications Update

A Statement from GS1 US

Thank you to the members and attendees that have reached out to us regarding the status of GS1 Connect® 2020. At this time, the conference is moving forward as planned.

As we monitor the latest coronavirus developments, GS1 US® is committed to being as transparent as possible about our decision making process. We are continuing to follow CDC and World Health Organization guidance and do not believe it is possible to accurately assess the risk that may or may not be present at the time of the GS1 Connect® conference in June. We also understand that there may be organizational travel restrictions that prevent your registration at this time.

Balancing this uncertainty with hope that efforts to “flatten the curve” will be successful over the coming weeks, GS1 US is extending Early Bird Registration to April 30, 2020. Our refund policy has also been extended and is available here for your reference.

The health and safety of all conference participants is our top priority. We are working closely with the hotel venue to take exceptional actions in order to protect the safety, health, and welfare of our conference participants in June. We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise you should circumstances change.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility at this time.
