GS1 US maintains not-for-profit status to remain a
neutral organization. This is important when gathering
together a diverse array of supply chain partners
participating in our initiatives or workgroups. Without
the constraints of conflicting interests or anti-trust
concerns, we can bring communities of stakeholders
together to identify solutions to common industry
business problems openly.
