Joining a workgroup allows you can get involved, foster broad collaboration, and make a difference—no matter your focus or expertise. As a participant, help identify challenges, explore solutions, and create adoption plans for:
Develops and deploys industry-specific guidance and best practices for managing supply chain visibility and the key business processes—including inventory management, on-shelf availability, and recall readiness—that require enhanced transparency.
Industry leaders, along with GS1 US, are coming together to determine how to leverage your existing investment in GS1 Standards to meet the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) 204 requirements.
This workgroup will review all the existing attributes to identify key attributes relative to the foodservice industry while ensuring that all industry needs are being met.
Examines the linkages between GS1 Standards and supply chain success so that investments in unique identification and quality data can help companies work toward full visibility and transparency.
Bringing together stakeholders from various industries, this discussion group will examine the importance of leveraging investments in global standards and how GS1 Standards with RFID technology supports supply chain and inventory management imperatives.
Defines and develops key foodservice manufacturer EPC/RFID source tagging resources in order to produce a consistent set of case/carton source-tagging requirements. This includes data encoding and encoding process options, tag placement, and carton marking guidance.
