The 2023 Joint Foodservice GS1 US Standards Initiative and GS1 US Retail Grocery Initiative Member Meeting is a closed event, open to initiative members only. The agenda will focus on foodservice and retail grocery initiative goals, Workgroup activities, and accomplishments in key areas that impact the food business. Members will have the opportunity to network directly with their trading partners across industry channels on how we can collectively leverage GS1 Standards for business solutions. This session will also facilitate collaborative conversations on industry strategies and future opportunities.

From the expansion of product categories in the apparel and general merchandise space to inventory management and traceability solutions in the food and healthcare space, RAIN RFID technology is advancing significantly. This face-to-face meeting gathers industry leaders to share hands-on experiences and showcase best practices for using EPC–enabled RAIN RFID to unlock new capabilities.

This face-to-face meeting will bring together manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, providers/dispensers, and other special guests to resolve challenges on the journey to a more efficient supply chain with EPC–enabled RAIN RFID. The meeting is open to Workgroup members who have signed the GS1 US IP Policy and members who have signed the Workgroup Opt-In.

Thursday, June 8, 8:00 AM–11:00 AM MT

With only six months until the final DSCSA requirements, this face-to-face meeting will focus on developing guidance for using GS1 Standards to address item-level traceability in an interoperable manner. The meeting is open to Workgroup members who have signed the GS1 US IP Policy and members who have signed the Workgroup Opt-In.

Thursday, June 8, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM MT

FSMA 204 Workgroup members will share their traceability implementation plans to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) 204 and share further opportunities, learnings, and benefits they are uncovering along the way. The group will also discuss any modifications that might be required in the next version of the “Retail Grocery and Foodservice–Apply the GS1 System of Standards to Support FSMA 204 Implementation Guideline.” The meeting is open to Workgroup members who have signed the GS1 US IP Policy and members who have signed the Workgroup Opt-In.
