GS1 US Data Hub - What's New

1. Improved “Import Products” Feature

As a brand owner, you may be familiar with the “Import Products” feature. It’s a time-saving way to enter many products in bulk, and have GS1 US Data Hub automatically assign available GTINs to these products.

With the March 18th release, the Import Products feature has gotten easier to use. You’ll see two new tabs: 

  • Import/Modify Products:
    Here you can upload your product data, which you enter in one of the three available templates.

  • Download Template:
    Three template options are available. If you've imported products before, you’ll notice a new Industry column in the template.

2. Administrators: New User Portal Feature 

For administrators, when you view a user profile in the GS1 US User Portal, you’ll see a new option, Remove from Company. This enables you to remove this user from this specific account. To learn how to add users and assign roles, visit the Add Users and Assign Roles article in this Help Center.

3. Location: Data Maintenance Automation

If you need to change the address for your company's Top Level GLN, GS1 US Data Hub will now automate this account maintenance process for our member support team.
